  1. Add cosmetic changes to the on-screen character when gear is equiped

    It would be a nice perk to see the armor on our character on the screen. Not only would it be a way to customize our characters, but it would also add to the humor.

      I can never remember where I saw that anvil or uberchest. How about letting players add pins to the minimap and enter a short note of what's there?

          I have realitvely huge (1920x1200) monitor and I'd like to play with full resolution without having to look at my bars/inventory with looking glass. Thanks for excellent game.

          • Add Crafting-Specific-Skill Bags for easier inventory sorting

            The bag we currently have fills up a tad fast. With all the loot/Booze/Food that is dropping, it fills our inventory fast. Why not create a specific bag for materials needed for the specific crafting skills. Eg. With the Tinkering & Smithing Skill, i get a pouch for Tinkering to hold all Tinkering-related materials, vice-versa. And common materials such as bars,ingots,powders, they are put into a "Common Shared Crafting Bag", instead of the normal bag that we use for other misc items.

            • Some way to remove curses from items

              After spending all your raw materials on an item and getting a lucky upgrade from those Anvils, it really sucks when it's bogged down with 20 permanent curses after clearing a zoo. Meanwhile, I have 130000 gold and nothing worthwhile to spend it on.

              • Add an option to kick down locked doors when you have lockpicks

                It would be nice to be able to save your lockpicks for chests instead of wasting them on doors you can just kick down.

                      It is also annoying having to press the space bar to rest per turn. If there was a button that let you speed up time like in other rogue games.

                        • Mostly find crafting recipes pertaining to your skill sets

                          Playing with the Smithing skill set, I only ever encountered ONE new crafting recipe I could use. Everything else I found was for Tinkerers and Alchemists. It would be nice if the game had a higher chance of the recipes you find being something you can use.

                            I found all too often that when one of my summoned monsters via Golemancy is near an enemy, they will sometimes for some reason not attack the closes enemy, and get whittled down while I wait for them to attack.

                            they should always attack the closest enemy, or even a selected enemy if possible.

                            I also find that if they do designate an enemy to attack, they will ignore everything else in their way and sometimes run into pools or other obstacles trying to reach it.

                            They should go around obstacles and be able to navigate around the map to…

                              • Points of Interest - Minimap Suggestion

                                Currently, we can only see Shops, Zoo, Stairs Up/Down. It'd be nice to have more on the minimap, like Lutefisk Shrines, "sidequest thingies", sidequest interactables (monolith, etc...), ...

                                Also, a way to make our own notes would be nice. For example, if I cannot reach something (yet) or an überchest is locked, I'd like to remember where those were.

                                  • Unbroken arrows recovered more often?

                                    Currently, I notice that arrows only are recoverable on the killing hit of a monster. Since I only use arrows to lower hp to do a one hit kill with my weapon, I never see the benefit of the crossbow skill tree at all, with increased arrow recovery. Now I'm not asking for special arrows like arrow of mass destruction to follow this, as that'd be ridiculous, but currently I haven't seen one arrow drop as recoverable, unless it's on the killing blow.

                                      Rogue-likes are full of adventure, loot, and statistics! Wouldn't be fantastic to be able to click on highscores to bring up a informative window on your character's items, kills, and fun facts about your most successful run?

                                        Currently, vast majority items sold in Brax stores can be classified as junk, and even when he does sell artifact, there is low chance it's one your character has use for anyway. That makes collecting Zorkmids quite pointless, apart from buying Bolts/Thrown from vending machines for non-tinkerers or for getting high score (IF they do count to it).

                                        Brax should sell way more artifacts to make earning gold more valid way getting good magic equipment. Alternatively, add some new money sinks, like the gambling system from Diablo II where you could spend loads of gold on unknown items that get…
